Private airfield of the Castle of Monhoudou

General information

 

The airfield can only be used  by day. It is situated in a class G air space outside all zones with specific P – R or D status.
This class G air space is used by the air force for high speed  and low altitude flights therefore users must be particularly vigilant.
Radio contact (123.5) is recommended during arrivals and departures                  ( message : Château de Monhoudou / Marolles les Braults ).
Minimum flying altitudes required  by regulations must be strictly respected. The flight plan must be scrupulously followed.
All flying must take place below clouds and within sight of the ground. 

Conditions of usage of the airfield

Before flying :

-         Obtain access permission from the owner Mr de Monhoudou and enquire about the regulations and possible restrictions of usage.

-         Send by fax, e-mail or mail the flight plan duly completed and signed by the pilot.

 

IMPORTANT

         All the details on the documents are only required to facilitate the pilot’s work who is also responsible for checking the information before the flight and for respecting the current regulations of the aviation authorities.

Attention : une ligne électrique et des arbres (20 m) sont situés au seuil de la piste

Seuls les aéronefs ayant des caractéristiques S.T.O.L. peuvent atterrir au QFU 02

Caution : a power electrical line and some trees (66 Ft) are situated at the runway threshold - Only S.T.O.L. aircrafts are able to land at the QFU 02

 

Nota : ne pas survoler – Do not overfly : Marolles les braults – Monhoudou et le Château de Monhoudou, lors des arrivées et des départs – for arrivals and departures.
